Private rides are arranged, not booked from a calendar. Tell us who is riding and what you would like arranged, and the riding centre comes back with what is possible and what it costs. There is no price on this page, because a private ride is priced by what it involves and no fixed figure exists.
What "private" actually changes
You are not riding with strangers. That sounds small and it is not: the pace of a shared group is set by its most nervous rider, and a private group's pace is set by you.
It also opens up the timing. A shared departure runs when it runs; a private ride can be built around a light, a meal afterwards, or a child who is better in the morning.
What people ask us to arrange
- Families riding together, with the children's ages given at booking so the centre can prepare.
- An occasion — a birthday, an anniversary, a proposal that wants the coast and an hour of your own.
- Photography, where the point of the ride is the pictures and the pace has to allow for them.
- A sunset or sunrise for your group alone, rather than joining a shared departure.
Ask for what you want rather than picking from this list. It is a list of what has been arranged before, not a menu.
What we cannot promise here
A price. A group size limit. A guarantee that a particular arrangement is possible on a particular date. All three belong to the riding centre, and all three depend on the day.

Riding as a group but not privately
If you simply want to ride together and the timing does not matter, book the standard hour as one party at €40 a rider with the transfer inside it; for a large group, message us first so the centre can confirm horses. That is usually the better answer for a group of friends.

Can I ride at sunset or sunrise?
Yes, but not as part of the standard hour — they are separate departures the riding centre arranges for the date you want, and it quotes the price when it confirms. Send us a date and we will come back to you.
What is the minimum age?
2. Riders under 2 cannot be booked. Whoever brings a child does not have to ride themselves. On the standard hour, children aged 2 to 10 pay the same €40 as an adult.
How much does horse riding in Side cost?
€40 per rider for the standard hour, and a child pays the same as an adult. Return transfer from your hotel in the Side area is included in that. You pay at the riding centre on the day — nothing is taken online when you book.
Is there a weight limit?
The riding centre recommends a maximum of around 100–110 kg. That is guidance rather than a rule enforced at the gate — suitability is judged by the staff on the day against the horses available. If you are near it or above, tell us when you book and we will check before you travel.
